Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars is the two part mini-series that was produced by The Jim Henson Company after a year plus long campaign by the fans. Fans have recently found out that Peacekeeper Wars has been submitted to the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for consideration for several long overdue Emmy Award nominations. To help raise awareness of PK Wars amongst the voting members of the Academy fans are banding together to raise money for ads in two carefully selected magazines. The first is the Emmy Magazine and the second is the Hollywood Reporter. Monies have been successfully raised for the Emmy Magazine ad. Click here for a copy of the ad to be published in the June 1st edition. To contribute towards the Hollywood Reporter Ad donations can be made via PayPal. Deadline for donations is June 2. These ads are the first phase of our plan to raise awareness of Peacekeeper Wars and we have two must-reach goals. (Of course we want to do more, but additional promotions will depend on the success of our fundraising efforts.) Must-Reach Goal #1 - Full page, black/white ad in Emmy Magazine,
issue#3 (June 1).
This is a challenge... but we raised nearly the same amount for the Go-Cards postcard campaign. We can do it!
